Shelving is Everywhere, What Do You Use it For?

Look around you, do you see any shelves? What room are you in? What is the shelf being used for? Can you see a cluttered space that could do with some shelving to get it tidied up and organized?
Shelving is used everywhere. At home it's likely you'll find shelves in each room of the house. You might have wooden shelves in the living room, plastic or even glass ones in the bathroom, wire shelves are often found in the kitchen pantry and the closet in your bedroom may house one of those nifty Rubbermaid storage systems that make finding everything in your closet a breeze.
Even your garage is likely to have some sort of shelving and if it doesn't and there is so much 'stuff' that the car no longer fits, you would probably benefit from some wall mounted shelves. They are heavy duty and can hold many things, from bicycles to power tools.
Now, think about your workplace. Commercial shelving has a wide range of styles too, depending on what it is used for. For example, you'll find industrial strength steel shelves in many factories. Libraries often use open back shelving systems so that space is utilized well and access is available from both sides.
Offices need shelves to store their stationery supplies and in smaller workspaces, where room is tight, a corner shelf might be the most practical solution to meet your needs.
If you are having trouble keeping things from cluttering up your space, wherever it may be, you don't have to look far for inspiration. Take a look around, get an idea of what sort of shelving will suit you best.
If you look online, you'll find plenty of places to get what you need, complete with instructions on how to install them. If you're not too sure about what type of shelf is going to be the most suitable for the use you have in mind, visit your local hardware or home improvement store, their staff can usually give you advice and help you to decide.
