Giving Free Stuff Away - A Few Tips

Do you wish to de-junk your house more than you wish to make money? In that case, give some of the unused, yet usable stuff away on Craigslist for free. Read on to find a few tips on how to do it.
Use your brains. A lot of people list junk and worthless items on the Free Section. Do not be one of them. Put the junk in the trash can and list only the ones that you believe will have some takers.
Post a Picture. It is really bad that you won't get any money for posting a picture, but heck you will be rid of the unwanted stuff sooner this way. Just spare a few minutes to snap a picture and upload it for better response.
Give a contact number. You should definitely give your phone number since people might wish to call you to ask if the item is still available. Or if you have given your email address, then check the mail every few hours and respond appropriately. It is not necessary to post your residential address since you don't want it fall into anybody's hands. Just post the contact number and give out your address to really interested people who contact you.
Try not to post Curb Alerts. Pulling things out to the curb is not a good way to dispose them of, since the weather might ruin the chance of them being reused by somebody else. Besides, you will get a lot of passers-by ringing your bell asking about the stuff that had been lying on the curb a week ago!
