With house prices dipping, the housing market itself straining, and purse strings tightening is the conservatory industry beginning to die down?
In recent times it has been quite well publicised that adding an extension on to a property can increase it by on average around £15,000. An Average cost of a Conservatory is normally approximately between £7,500-£12,500 for a white Edwardian. Extra fitted options and different designs can increase the price, but may also increase the price of the property at the same time.
Recently there was even a case submitted to the Daily Mail, which claimed a house had increased it's sale price by a whopping £200,000. A huge amount.
Because of this Conservatory sales are generally doing well, despite the recession.
