If You've Always Wanted a Greenhouse in Your Home, Here Are Some Tips to Get You Started

Of course you need the space and the ideal location. I'm not going to get into that. But when most people think of a green or glass house, they tend to ignore what is probably the most important aspect - shades.
Paradox
A greenhouse is meant to be open to sunlight. So why are we talking about shades? The fact is naked glass is a radiation magnet. With all that glass around it, you sure don't want your greenhouse to become a poison chamber. It might be a good idea to install some suitable shades to turn off the heat when you need to.
Privacy and peace
The other trouble with glass is that it allows one to see everything. Using tinted glass will defeat the purpose of a greenhouse. But leaving the glass as it is will mean that passersby can peep into your greenhouse invading your privacy. You don't want to do that, especially when you've spent so much time and effort creating a cosy nook. This is another reason why shades for your greenhouse will be a great idea.
Savings
Heat management and control is a key concern for any green or glass house. If you don't use a simple solution like shades, you might have to invest in an expensive air conditioning system. Now you take a pick. Would you rather go ahead and make your green or glass house effective by using simple shades or would you much rather install the expensive, carbon footprint enhancing air conditioner.
