Both fire and water damage is really harmful. It pinches hard to see your favorite things lying in the floodwater/ dirty sewer water or blazed in the fire. Bedroom:

* While using microwave ensure that you don't use foil or metal things.
* If by chance grease fire happens, then NEVER pour water to extinguish it. Your fuming fire and it will explode.

Living Room

* In your living room for god sake keep television at a distance from window. Rainwater can harm the television and can ignite the fire or result in an electric shock.
* Use the light bulbs with specified wattage to avoid overloading.

Beside these there are some general precautions you must always follow.

*Never turn on the switch of any appliances when your hands are wet.
*Use right size fuse. Oversize or undersized fuse can ignite fire easily.
* Completely avoid loose electrical connection. Fix them immediately.
* If wiring is a problem in your home, then get it redone by taking an electrician help.
