Fun Hangers!
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Ron_Maier_Jr.]Ron Maier Jr.

The next generation demands more than the old wire hanger. Girls today are identifying more and more with the products that they use. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. Having an identity from a young age promotes self esteem and self confidence. This, of course, translates into having a more successful happy life. So why not indulge your little girl? Hangers are just one item that you can personalize. It's unique, creative and fun. Your little girl could be the first to have this in-demand accessory.

There are many types of hip hangers that you can purchase for that special girl in your life. Beaded hangers are a lot of fun and come in a multitude of colors, shapes and sizes. Interesting glittering beads light up a closet and also, as a bonus, encourage your child to hang up her clothes. Keeping the closet nice and neat is one simple change in your daughter's life that offers a real positive impact. Feeling organized and in control is the first step towards developing a healthy self image.

You may decide to take your old wire hangers and make your own glamorous hangers. It can be a little tricky, but makes for a fun project to share with your daughter. Showing her that you're interested in her life and her choices will bring you closer together. You want to make her feel special. You also want her to feel that her ideas are important to you. Working together can help accomplish these goals. Just finding something in common to work on can be a challenge sometimes. You want to encourage your daughter to express herself in a healthy, productive way. When she feels special, she will feel empowered. Empowerment will help her to make her own decisions and be confident about them. She won't be so susceptible to peer pressure and she won't take rude comments from people so seriously.

If you don't decide to make fun hangers with your daughter but still want to spend some quality time together, help her shop online for the ones that she likes. Take interest in her choices and ask questions to spark more conversation. For example, you can ask why she really likes the pink and orange beaded hangers. Do they remind her of a special place, person or outfit? Maybe she's not so girly and wants the pure black beads. How do they make her feel? Unique? Special? How do certain ones help her express herself? Maybe the conversation will turn to a desire to update the whole closet. You can work on building shelves, adding hooks, paint or other closet accessories to make her closet a special place for her. Ask her if she'd like to make a collage of her friends and family to hang inside of her closet so that she'll be reminded of how loved she is every time she opens the door.

There are lots of things you can do to boost your daughter's self esteem. Special hangers in her closet are just a unique starting point. Hopefully she'll be intrigued by the idea and new ideas will arise. The best part is that she'll be involved with you. It's important to continue bonding as she grows up.
