Selecting The Right Four Seasons Sunroom For Your Home
By Andrew Caxton

We were surprised to see how many choices of four seasons sunrooms were available when we decided to go ahead with this exciting home improvement project. One of the companies we looked at had no less than four different arrangements, each available in a number of variations.

We started looking at the options and the simplest version they had was the straight version. It was immediately obvious that this would not suit our home. Its lines are as straight as the name implies, which just looked too severe and modern for our home.

Its design really wasn't going to work for our Victorian home: it would have looked too modern and completely out of place, so we started to look at the other options.

The next style we came across was the curved version. Again this would have looked good in a different setting but it was too modern to do our old-fashioned house any favors. Again we knew straight away that this was not going to be a sensible option for our home.

The cathedral four seasons sunroom that we looked at next was stunning. It was love at first sight! The high ceiling and beautiful structure would have worked really well with the style of our home if it hadn't been for a scale issue. Looking at the project more closely, though, we felt we had to dismiss the cathedral style as the balance wouldn't be right: our home is of relatively modest size.

I felt a bit upset that we could not use the cathedral style but it just would not have looked right. Looking for the perfect four seasons sunroom was also starting to wear me down.

This is when we found the perfect match for our home. We ended up selecting the conservatory four seasons sunroom. It came in both aluminum and wood, and wood was just the best possible material we could have used to go with our home.

The only difficulty with this option was picking the actual variation from the two styles available: both Georgian and Victorian conservatories would have been a perfect fit, but as we could only have the one we chose the Victorian based on its name.

We are really pleased with our four seasons sunroom: it definitely adds a modern twist and quality to our home, yet it also suits its conservative style.
