God a real frustrating place to buy anything. Took 45 mins to order a bed that was then delivered on the wrong day. Sales person was lovely but there is clearly a distinct lack of management or order about the place. We had a full house to furnish but it took so much time to buy a bed I would never go back for anything else. Pity as we wanted to shop local Product/Service Range 3

What attracted me to Joyces was 1st and foremostly price and the domestic appliance salesman was very upfront and helpful, the most of any I'd encountered shopping around. In pricing terms they were well ahead of most other electrical retailers I'd got quoted from and his enthuasism and helpfulness helped swing it. However in terms of dealing with other staff in the place the experience was very bad. Phone messages or stuff ordered was either misunderstood, misintrepreted or never passed on to the appropriate persons. The whole place, both the shop floor and the yards are shambolic with staff running all over the place who would never offer to assist you unless you forcibly confront them. I would recommend the place for competitiveness and range and stock of products but if you want good customer service avoid them. Product/Service Range 4

The service here is terrible. It is impossible to get them to call you back. There was something wrong with everything I ordered from them. Either the goods were wrong or damaged. I cannot stress how difficult they are to deal with and I am a very patient person. They seem to think that if I don't call back the upset customer will go away. Thats not how it works. It's difficult to get good advice or service in Joyces. There seems to be no emphasis put on staff training. Some are very helpful (but the exception). It's like going to the dentist. I dread it every time because the pain there is normally bad but the pain afterwards (if I require delivery or afterservice) is normally brutal. This is a very badly managed business.
