Two guys run the place, with help from a few young people/family etc. The know everything there is to know about DIY and no problem is too small for them to care about and discuss with you. They really give good service and are so pleasant to deal with also. Recently I couldn't get a watering can rose for love nor money in any of the big shops, but they had such cheap plastic cans, with a rose, I just bought one of those instead. They have tiny screws and washers and bits and pieces that they count out into a paper bag, much better than buying a 100 in a pre-packed plastic thing. Great place, please support it to make sure they stay in business! Product/Service Range 5

I was just up at the shop looking for a product, being a pseudo-\'handyman\', I thought I knew what I wanted. When I described the problem, the man behind the counter talked me out of buying anything and gave me the answer to a common problem.
He talked me out of a sale, now that\'s customer service.

Churchtown Stores is a family run hardware/DIY supplier tat have been in existance before any of the Woddies/Homebase/B&Qs ever existed. The staff are great, you are barely in the door before they are asking you if they can help, and you do need their help to find what you are looking for as they have packed so much in their shop it can be hard to locate what you want. If you have a problem, and I have on many occasions, thay are happy to discuss the solutions. I had a problem with a leaking oil pipe joint and spent over 30 minutes with one of their guys working on various solutions, end reult was a couple of parts that cost less than €5, unreal service.

If you have an old house and are trying to get your hands on an old part that the modern DIY superstores don't have this is the place to go. 		Product/Service Range 5
