Our (expensive!) Hot Point Tumble Dryer stopped working properly after 14 months. Soundstore's reaction was: "After 12 months no free service". We telephoned them several times, and are writing a complaint letter (by registered post), today . We also phoned the Hot Point cy. who arrogantly refused also and referred to Soundstore. The National Consumers' Agency advises us that we should have the right to free repair for several years, inspite of their "12 months clause". MOREOVER we are very disappointed, since: 1. it is only a mere 2 months over the 12 month period. 2. We are rather good clients: we bought a plasma TV, TV table, expensive washing machine, two expensive dryers and several more items in that shop and we had expected some decent treatment! Purchased a few things from store in blackpool. staff were very helpfull. great knowledge - great shopping experience in total.
and better pricing then currys or harweys too.

Not contactable for any service requests. Showing no interest once a product is just out of warranty. Even to id a recommended repair solution. Product/Service Range 3
