At East Coast Cabinets we manufacture top quality custom made pine furniture and kitchens. We make chests, wardrobes, lockers, beds, headboards, bookcases, desks, tables, dressers, display cabinets and any item of furniture, whether freestanding or fitted. We custom finish our furniture in many colours including the entire Dulux colour range. All of our furniture is manufactured and sold in Ireland.
Design, Function & Style
We offer a complete computerised furniture design service , where designs can be drawn to any level of detail and rendered in real world photographic quality.
We can produce an overview showing the main features or a design may include even the smallest detail.
All of our designs are produced using AutoCAD 2004 which is the choice of professional draughtspeople the world over. For some examples please visit the Designs Page.
Our Cabinet Makers and Fitters work to assist our designers at every stage to ensure a smooth transition from Design to Manufacture.

Specifying Materials
We use many materials in our furniture including Solid Pine, Hardwoods including Beech, Maple, Mahogany, Oak etc and Veneered MDF.
Wood is a natural product and as such will change over time. In particular the moisture content in natural timbers will vary over time, this can cause warping and twisting, problems which can't be completely eliminated by anybody in any way.
MDF is a manmade material and is stronger and more stable than natural wood. Real wood veneered MDF is commonly used in Fitted Furniture because it strikes the best balance between cost, functionality and appearance.
We select superior quality hardware for all our projects to ensure they will stand the test of time. Hinges, knobs and drawer runners etc are very important and contribute greatly to the quality feel of our furniture and kitchens.
We have developed relationships with specialist suppliers for everything from glass and mirrors to electric TV lifting platforms. This ensures that EC Cabinets can offer the greatest level of choice to our Clients.


Manufacture & Spray Finishing
All of our custom made furniture and pine kitchens are manufactured and spray finished in our facility in Roundwood, Co. Wicklow.
Our skilled cabinet makers produce the furniture designs expertly using industrial equipment, taking advantage of modern materials and techniques where appropriate.
When the cabinets are built they will be finished in the customers preferred colours, usually hand sprayed. East Coast Cabinets can offer a range of colours and techniques.

Delivery & Installation
When it comes to fitting your chosen furniture design our fully insured Fitters will ensure a timely and quality installation. We can take care of all the Delivery & Installation Details so that the Client can be assured of minimum disruption.
