Hurney's Forge in Aughrim, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway has been run by a successive family line of Blacksmiths since 1910 and is one of the few remaining working forges in Ireland. Today Hurney's Forge builds high quality custom made trailers to order. There are DVD's available that record the traditional role of the Blacksmith and working life in rural Ireland in the 1940's and 1950's.
