From the Woods to the Sawmill

Our suppliers, Linwood™, has secured its own timber licenses through programs operated by the Ministry of Forests in British Columbia, Canada. All Linwoodä logs are professionally harvested by contractors who understand their future is dependant on looking after the forests. The Linwood™ logging operations not only include harvesting the timber, but also reforesting the land and maintaining the seedlings so they survive to maturity. No logs are harvested from environmentally sensitive areas.

The controlled harvesting allows consistent supply of high quality timber, which is utilized in all Crannóg Homes packages. This wood is of a uniformly high standard and is widely agreed to be the best available in the world marketplace today.
