Attic Ladders.

This might be a bit remote but I'm going to ask anyway..

We recently moved house and for reasons unknown brought the old attic steps (aluminium) with us.

Naturally, the ceiling in the new house is higher and the steps aren't long enough.

Are there any companies that take these ladders as trade in's against new proper length ones ? I did try looking up the internet and found such a company based in Sydney.. just wondering is there one a bit closer to home (Dublin!).

Hi, you could try this guy, john 086 2104114 he recently fitted a new attic ladder for us( timber for aluminium) he discounted the cost by 50 euro for our old ali ladders, he also insulated our entire attic too, reliable and reasonable, grand job !
