Attic Insulation People.

Can anyone recommend a company that do attic insulating with the wooly itchy stuff ? I've rung a few and they all come across as cowboys. Northside Dublin area.

Just got a few quotes for my still insulation-less attic!

Crowd in Capel Street called Energy Star seem to be the best so far. Has anyone heard of them or more importantly heard any bad reports about them ?

I insulated the attic floor, which made for 30% in gas savings. In the attic itself, the joists have old R-13 foil-backed insulation layered with R-10 foam and sheet rocked to the unfinished knee-walls (I was preparing to finish the attic. I did not yet cover the insulation beyond the knee-walls with paper, so there are seams.

you cuold try Polycomp Products in Walkinstown. They did my place walls and attic. Great bunch of guys with no messin around or mess left behind.

You could try insulateyourhome.ie. They are based in Leixlip. I got cavity insulation and attic insulation done with these lads. Worked out fairly cheap when the grant was taken into account. I only have a small 3 bed bungalow but nevertheless, was well worth it.
