Our tenant has recently moved out and on cleaning up (I use the term loosely Laughing ) she sprayed the marble inset in the fireplace with Flash All Purpose Cleaner and left it to do its thing.

It has stripped the polish from it resulting in a drip style finish.

Can anyone tell me how I can restore the fireplace without great expense or indeed mask what has happened.

Any help would be appreiated.
