Condensation

Our house was built in the 1930's and there is moisture appearing on our bedroom wall, which lead to black spots. I have painted over these with aluminum paint and then coated that with a oil based paint and then two coats of emulsion. I did this in July but they have now reappeared again. The bedroom is always cold even though we have central heating in the house.

Can we do anything to aleviate this? Would a dehumidifier be of any help. The bedroom is small enough and dry lining it would take away valuable space.

Any tips or suggestions?
