Can anyone help with the following query. How do you rid a greenhouse of woodlice who are attacking the almost-ripe tomatoes? |

If you don't have acres of tomatoe plants, try squirting a small amount of garden pesticide on adjacent leaves only, not on tomatoes. Then, gently wipe or shake creatures from tomatoes. |

The fact that they are attracted to damp areas means that controlling them very much depends on their surrounding environment. The removal of cardboard boxes, flowerpots and boards reduces the number of places for them to shelter. Woodlice may be got rid of by ordinary cleaning. They do not reproduce indoors!
If necessary as the previous user says, there are various pesticides which can be used. However, use of an insecticide will not prevent further woodlice entering.
Pesticides available in the likes of johnstown garden centre, arboretum or wherever your local garden centre is. |
