We want to remove ivy that is imbedded into the front brick wall of our house, does anyone of the best way to do this and/or know of any one who does this work?

i would get some weedkiller (roundup or similar) in local garden centre...
spray onto ivy ... wait for ivy to die ... and will come off wall easily ...
prob fall off when it dead...

Another option - just rip the thing off (wear some gloves) and wash the wall with a bleach solution to kill off the rest of the roots. It's difficult to get the air roots out completely, might take a while...

best is use a hacksaw above the root slice it across the ivy it will die and then just rip the whole thing off the wall
