the most effective way I have found is the electronic device, I think its simply called a pest controller. it plugs into any socket and seeminly makes a sound that keeps the ants away. it takes a few days to take effect but then bingo, the little buggers are gone forever!

Have always found that any powder was the only way to go but am now on the look out for one of those electronic devices. If you know specifically where to get one can you please post it!

I was told years ago by an old Swiss guy that the best way to get rid of ants is to feed them with honey mixed with yeast. Apparently, they eat it and then explode in their hill/hive whatever you call it... The others will take note and avoid the house? I've never tried it but I'd love to find out if it works Twisted Evil
