Try the anti-mildew sprays which are available in the supermarket. There is also a newish grout available which resists mildew - expensive but good.

Plain household bleach and a scrubbing brush. Awful job but it makes a huge difference.

Noel O' Sullivan Furniture in West Cork sells a Black Spot Remover for Garden Furniture that is suitable for use indoors. It has an acid base but does a great job. Smile
Is about €10 and chances are they will probably post it. Question
They are the only agent in Munster for it, possibly the country.

Found them listed on the site,

Spray down the tiles and grout with a 50-50 mix of vinegar and water regularly.

Hi,

There is a product from Lithofin that is available in most right price tiles stores called "mildew away".

I used it before myself. Excellent job.

Make a paste of baking soda and vinegar, smear it on and leave overnight, then attack with tooth brush. Try out somewhere inconspicuous first to make sure it won't dissolve your grout, but should be okay. This will both kill the fungus and lighten the stains.

Good luck!

1. Remove all soap scum from the tiles and grout with white vinegar. Fill a spray bottle with vinegar and wet down the tiles and grout. Use a scrub brush to scrub the tiles. Rinse thoroughly with cold water and wipe dry with a soft dry cloth.
2. Apply lemon juice to any areas of the grout that require extra attention. Saturate a cotton ball with lemon juice and wet the area. Scrub with a soft brush and remove stains. Rinse clear and dry thoroughly.
3. Wipe down tiles daily after showers or baths to maintain sparkling clean shower tiles.

Smile Very Happy
